Mazda Japanese Automobile Company has unveiled at the Los Angeles International Auto Show an all-new concept car, Mazda Nagare (pronounced na-gah-reh).

People from Mazda described this concept car’s seductive lines as “powerful yet effortless, provocative yet strikingly”. The new Nagare concept has a very cool design with unusual proportions and surprising detailed solutions. The body is reminding of waves and flowing forms, as Mazda’s designers have tried and succeded to capture nature elements in a play of lights and shadows. The words to describe this new design could be motion, energy and lightness, but Mazda decided on one simpe word: “flow”.

But the new concept is anything but simple and the cool and futuristic design is about to set the trend for the future design line of the Japanese mark.

Mazda Nagare has the soul of a sports car with the slim and aerodynamic body and it seems to be on the verge of flying with its two wing doors handing over the entire side flank.

Innovative seat arrangements are a Mazda speciality, so they couldn’t be absent on this cool car concept of the future, were, like in a racing car the driver seat has a central position giving an optimal control of the vehicle and great visibility.

So, with so many design attributes of a sports car the imagination can go wild. This could be a fast sports car of the future and it could be propelled alternatively by a hydrogen or a petrol engine.
