2007 All-New Toyota Tundra Concept Car
The all-new next-generation Toyota Tundra 2007 full-size pickup truck was unveiled at a press conference at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show. THis new cool car is bigger, more powerful than the previous models and it will offer new body and engine configurations.
The new Toyota Tundra 2007 was designed to meet most off-road driving requirements and it will be capable of towing an amazing 10,000 lbs. Power for this new big and fast car is provided by an all-new 5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine manufactured at Toyota’s Alabama engine plant coupled to a new heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission.
Also a cool feature is the 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
In addition to the 5.7 liter engine that will bring up more than 350 hp there will be other two engines available (the old truck’s engines): a 4.0-liter DOHC 24-valve EFI V6 with VVT-i (236 hp @ 5200 rpm, 266 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm) and 4.7-liter DOHC 32-valve EFI V8 with VVT-i (271 hp @ 5400 rpm, 313 lb.-ft. @ 3400 rpm).
New features that make the new Tundra a very cool offroad car are a wide-screen backup camera integrated into the tailgate handle, an optional JBL audio system and Bluetooth phone compatibility.
There will be 3 models available: the Double Cab Limited Regular Bed 4×4, the Regular Cab SR5 Long Bed 4×2 and the Double Cab SR5 Long Bed 4×4. The all-new Toyota Tundra 2007 will arrive in dealer showrooms in early 2007.
